Saturday afternoon I met with the Sherman family to photograph their one week old Son at our studio. The Shermans were return customers - we also photographed their Daughter's newborn photos in 2007. Always great to have customers come back!

Last night I met with Tendai and his Mom for some HS senior photos at the Hotel Del Coronado. We started in the courtyard and then moved out to the beach. We had a beautiful sunset and a plesant, warm evening with very little wind (of course it's always breezy when I'm shooting people with long hair!)

Saturday evening I met with the Anderson family up in Encinitas for some family beach photos. We had yet another nice and overcast sky, which was great because it was windy. The overcast sky allowed me to shoot in any direction, so it was easy to have the women turned into the wind so as to keep the hair out of their faces.

What a fun bunch to photograph, we had a blast taking some fun photos in addition to the typical, posed family photos.

Friday evening I met with the Livezey family up at Boneyard Beach in Encinitas for some beach portraits. We had a beautifully overcast evening at the beach, great for nice, soft portrait lighting. Here are a few favorite beach photos from this family photo shoot at Boneyard Beach:

This morning I met with the Leinen family, visiting San Diego from Texas. We had a great, mostly overcast morning at the beach. Tonight I meet with Gabby, a 2010 HS senior visiting from Oregon for her HS senior photos. We did an extended two hour photo shoot at the beautiful Hotel Del Coronado, starting first in the courtyard and then moving outside and to the beach.

The photos look awesome at first glance, it was hard to narrow it down to a few favorites. But here you go:
