Rosecrans National Military Cemetery Memorial Day 2008
Every year I visit Rosecrans National Military Cemetery on the day after Memorial Day. I get there just after sunrise and wander around the cemetery shooting photos for about 2-3 hours.
On Friday the Boy Scouts come out and put a US flag at each and every one of the over 90,000 graves. It's an amazing site, and since they don't take them down until later on Tuesday morning, I literally have the whole place to myself for a couple of hours.
