A Marriage Proposal at Coronado Beach

Romance was in the air tonight at Coronado Beach. I was contacted by Matt so that I could photograph him proposing to Erica during their visit to San Diego (they are from Pennsylvania). What better place to propose to the love of your life than at the beach? And what better way to remember the special occasion than with beautiful photographs...?

Erica was under the impression that we were "just" doing a photo shoot. So things started out pretty ho hum.



Then, through a variety of hand signals and jestures behind Erica's back, Matt is able to convey to me just where he wants to propose, with the beautiful Hotel Del Coronado in the background.

After a few words, Matt goes for the ring:

After saying "yes", Erica admires her beautiful new ring:
