San Diego Beach Photos at the Hotel Del Coronado

Tonight I met with the Palmer family from Austin, Texas for some beach photos. What a night we had - the beach was empty, no wind, plenty of wet sand for reflections.....and by far the best sunset of 2008. This is why you do your beach photos in the fall - look at the color in some of these shots.

OUR Family Beach Photos at the Hotel Del Coronado

Tonight we finally had the chance to do our own family photos over at the Hotel Del Coronado. Our good friend Michele from Captured Forever Photography here in San Diego came out to help us get some family photos. With our dog Bailey suffering from cancer and not doing very well lately, we knew that it was time to get a few last photos with him.

We started out in front of the hotel with Bailey and got several great photos including this one:



Bailey did not join us on the beach because we thought it would be too much for him. But Michele got some fantastic photos of the three of us on the beach and in the water:

Tonight I had the pleasure of photographing this family from Scottsdale Arizona. Here to get away from the desert heat, it was overcast and chilly at the beach. Great for lighting though!
