Today I met with Mira and her Son for some fun maternity photos at our studio. We used everything from beautiful antique furniture to washable hand paint. We had a blast and of course got a variety of beautiful photos. Here is a sample:

Maternity photography 02.25.07

This afternoon we had the pleasure of photographing Megan, who is expecting a baby girl very soon.

Megan also brought along her sister and Mom, so that they could be in a few of the photos as well. First Grand baby, and Mom is a cryer, so hopefully she has a box of Kleenex handy as she's reading this (ha ha ha).

We captured a lot of great photographs using various poses and lighting techniques. We're looking forward to sitting down with you to view your photographs very soon. Thank you again for hiring us for your maternity and newborn photography!

Maternity photos 01.13.07

Had another maternity photo session at our studio today. Shot a lot of variety with this session.

Some photos with just Mommy, and some with Mommy and Daddy. They will also be coming back next month with baby for their newborn photography.

Tried some more tinkering with the honeycomb lights, using them to spotlight different areas. I'm really liking using two honeycombs on maternity photos, one to highlight the face and one for the belly. Love the way that looks.

Maternity photo session 11.26.06

Today we had a solo maternity session at our San Diego studio. Our subject was Jenifer, who will be having a baby girl in early March. As usual, we shot with two backdrops and a variety of clothing and lighting setups. Here are two of my favorites:
