Studio maternity pictures

This afternoon the Baesas family paid us a visit. Expecting their third child and first girl (name TBD), we got some beautiful maternity pictures.

This morning we had the pleasure of photographing a family who is expecting their third Son in about a month. Fitting that we would post these photos right after the pictures of the USS Peleliu, because Dad is assigned to the Peleliu and was on the ship when we photographed her coming in yesterday! What a coincidence.

Anyway, on with the photos:

Today we had the pleasure of photographing Vince and Miranda, who are expecting their first baby on September first.



We used the black and the white backdrops, and shot a wide variety of angles, poses and lighting techniques.

Maternity Photos 02.10.07

Todays maternity session was with Mat and Pam, who are expecting their first child in late March. Pam found our ad in The Bump magazine, which she picked up at Babies R Us.



Mat and Pam are very excited to be parents, and can't wait for their daughter Elsie to arrive. It was very easy to get them to smile, just ask them for their daughter's name - ELLLLLSIEEEEE they said with a smile. ;)



We will also be doing Elsie's newborn photos shortly after she is born, we can't wait to meet her! Thank you again, Mat and Pam!

Maternity photography 02.08.07

This evening we had the privilege of shooting some maternity photography with Jamie. Jamie is happily awaiting her beautiful baby daughter, who will be here very soon.



We used the black and marbled tan backdrops, common for maternity photography. As usual, we tried several various lighting techniques, using from one to three studio lights, including two honeycomb "spotlight" filters (my new favorite toys).



Jamie also brought along a cool piece of jewelry which you will see here. It worked beautifully over the tummy.



These are just a few of my personal favorites. But I can tell you that Jamie is going to have a very difficult time choosing her favorites, when she sees all of the great photographs that we captured during her session. Thank you again Jamie, and we'll be seeing you and your baby girl very soon!

Maternity Photography 12.13.06

This evening we had the pleasure of meeting Marshall and Angelic, who are expecting their son on January 7th. When Alex is just a week or two old, we'll also be shooting their newborn photos. Thank you for hiring us for your maternity and newborn photos, we'll be seeing you again in a couple of weeks!
